This was a wonderful weekend of riding and fellowship.  Some of the group arrived early on Friday and used that time to get in some riding on 421.  That evening more people had arrived at the hotel for the meet up before dinner.   The restaurant we discovered on Friday night offered "country cooking" and LOTS of it, the entertainment was a group of 4 older gentlemen that could belt out some bluegrass!  Saturday morning we met for breakfast in the hotel conference room and Jonathan led us in a great discussion and study on faith.  Saturday's ride route was put together by Mike C, who really did a great job.  Hwy 421 is a road to be ridden over and over.  The scenery was unbelievable and the roads were awesome.  Absolutely some of the most beautiful roads we've been on, great curves and nice pavement.   We arrived back at the hotel too late (and too lazy) to ride to dinner, so we ordered pizza and had some wonderful time getting to laugh and chat...some of us even paid the pizza delivery driver to take us to the closest convenient store for ice cream.... unfortunately just to discover (after we were dropped off) that the store didn't sell ice cream.  After a nice walk back to the hotel... Jonathan volunteered to ride out to the grocery and bring us back a couple containers of Breyers....Sunday, we had another great study in the word and discussion led by Jonathan,  some of group headed straight back home, and some rode more of 421.....we left renewed in the Spirit and so thankful for our  Christian friends.
