Rosi Crawford - Chapter Leader

aka "Coffeebean" on the message board
My current bike is a 2007 YZF600R.
I have been riding for about 8 years and have found that I love it. The
bike I learned on was a 1992 Suzuki Bandit 400, I rode it for a year, sold it for a 1997 YZF600R. I had the YZF for about 5 years, and unfortunately it was totaled in a head-on collision at Deal’s
Gap during our Spring Rally in May 2005 (it appears that those international visitors ride on the “wrong” side
of the road”….j/k) I decided to try a twin, and purchased a 1997
Ducati 900SS and had it for 2 years. The twin was great, but I never seemed to
gel 100% with it and I missed the old YZF greatly. So, I sold the Ducati
and rec'd another YZF for Christmas in 07.
I became a Christian when
I was 12 years old, but during my young adulthood I thought I could swing it in life without a relationship with God. After realizing the void in my life was too great, I rededicated my life. God has blessed me with a wonderful husband (Chris, "Slow"), who is my best friend, and two fantastic
children, a son Michael who is 15 and a daughter Alex, who is 8. I know God has
a sense of humor, because I am raising a teen. I love serving at our church in
the children’s ministry and my biggest passion, women’s ministries.
God has used my past trials to relate to many other women and has blessed us with strong friendships and prayer/support
teams. Currently, through prayer and guidance God has brought me together with
a few other women where we have been brainstorming a women’s running ministry.
I love serving Christ through the CSBA, and am blessed that I have Christian brothers and sisters to share my love
of Christ and my love of riding.
